Privacy policy.

Nothing automatically. Reading these pages requires no account and asks you for nothing. We only ever hold information you deliberately give us, and there are exactly two ways that happens: buying a ticket, or emailing us. Both are described below.

We run no analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind. There is no Google Analytics and no advertising pixel, and our fonts are served from our own site rather than a font provider, so reading a page does not report your visit to anyone.

Two honest exceptions, neither used to track you. Our checkout page loads Stripe's payment fields, and Stripe sets its own cookies and storage there to detect fraud — that is Stripe's doing, governed by its policy, and it only happens on the checkout page. Separately, your browser remembers small conveniences on its own, such as your having dismissed the “next event” notice; that stays on your device and never reaches us. Staff signing in to the admin area get a login cookie, which applies to no one else.

Our contact links open your own email program. If you write to us — to ask a question, to reserve a seat at an event, or to ask how to donate — we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write in the message. We use that only to reply to you and to handle your request. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone outside AAHG.

Donations are handled by PayPal, not by this website. When you click a donate button you leave our site and complete your gift on PayPal's own pages. We never see or store your card or bank details. PayPal's handling of your information is governed by its own privacy policy.

To buy a ticket we ask for your name and your email address, and we record which tickets you chose and what you paid. Your name is the ticket: it is what we check against at the door. Your email is used to send your receipt and to reach you if something about the event changes. We keep these records while we organize the event and afterwards as long as our accounts require.

Payment is handled by Stripe. Card details are entered directly into Stripe's own payment fields and go straight to Stripe — they never pass through, and are never stored on, this site. We receive only confirmation that a payment succeeded, the amount, and the last four digits and brand of the card. Stripe's handling of your information is governed by its own privacy policy.

We don't send any, and we do not run a mailing list. There is no sign-up form on this site and no marketing opt-in when you buy a ticket. The only email we send about a ticket is the receipt for it. If that ever changes we will say so here first, and any list would be opt-in with a working unsubscribe.

Like nearly every website, ours is served by a hosting provider that keeps standard technical logs — things like the IP address of the request, the browser used, and the time. These are ordinary operational records used to keep the site running and secure. We do not use them to build a profile of you, and we do not combine them with anything else.

We link out to other places — PayPal, Vimeo, Facebook, Instagram, and projecttweet.com among them. Once you follow a link you are on someone else's site, and their privacy practices apply, not ours. We'd encourage you to read the policy of any site you share information with.

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Nothing is collected automatically, so there is little to opt out of. If you would like to know what we hold about you — a ticket order, or an email you sent — or want any of it corrected or deleted, just ask. Write to info@aahg.org and we'll take care of it.

If we ever change how this site works — for example by adding a contact form or analytics — we will update this page and change the date at the top. This version is current as of September 7, 2026.
